IIA announces new non-Executive Director & IIA Ambassador

Invest in Africa (IIA) is very pleased to announce that Rosalind Kainyah has joined the organisation as a non-Executive Director and Omar Ben Yedder has joined as an IIA Ambassador.

As a non-Executive Director, Rosalind Kainyah sits on the Invest in Africa board and attends the quarterly Partner meetings that define the strategic vision of IIA. Rosalind will also work to further the aims of Invest in Africa by facilitating dialogue with key stakeholders as well as promoting the message of sustainable investment and support for local enterprise.

Rosalind has held senior positions with Tullow Oil plc and De Beers and now helps clients navigate their way through the economic, political and social risks of working in Africa as CEO and Founder of Kina Advisory Limited.

As an IIA Ambassador, Omar Ben Yedder represents Invest in Africa in a personal capacity, furthering the vision that cross-sector collaborative partnerships will provide long term solutions to common business challenges in Africa. Omar will also promote and provide support to IIA in delivering its initiatives.

Omar is Publisher and Managing Director of IC Publications having joined in 2003. Omar isactively engaged across a number of initiatives in Africa and a frequent participant at international forums with an African interest.
