IIA Present to Government at UK-Kenya Trade Forum

On Thursday 15th September, IIA were invited to present at the UK-Kenya Trade & Investment Forum 2016 held at the Park Lane Hotel, London.

The event, hosted by DMA brought together business leaders in Kenya alongside a strong government delegation to discuss investment opportunities under Kenya’s Vision 2030 in key economic sectors such as agriculture, energy, information communication technology, manufacturing, and improving economic performance, modernising infrastructure and building partnerships for a long term sustainable economy.

Invest in Africa were given the opportunity to present to delegates and government officials the work of IIA Kenya and plans to launch the new online platform, the African Partner Pool (APP), in November 2016 to connect Kenyan SMES to big companies, their tenders, management training and new finance.

The Forum was led by Amb.(Dr.) Amina Mohamed, the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya, and delegates had an opportunity to engage with Cabinet Secretaries, Principle Secretaries, key parastatals and Heads of private sector bodies.
